Dear Members of St. John,
We are so thankful for all the ways that this church really became a church family to us. It i s incredibly hard to pack up our things and say goodbye to all the wonderful people we have come to know and love. We have been immeasurably blessed through our time here, and our children also have benefited greatly from all the people who have reflected God's love to them by their words and actions. Thank you for all that you have done for us, and we feel as Paul said to the Philippians, "I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:3-6) We will continue to pray earnestly for your ministry here, and give thanks that God brought our paths together eight years ago when Phil received the call to serve in your midst. We will miss you!
