Midweek Advent Worship (November 30)

We have another opportunity to prepare for Jesus' coming this Advent season.  Tomorrow night we have our only Wednesday evening service.  The time is 6:30 PM.

We will meditate on David's words in Psalm 27:1,13,14 with the theme:  Wait for the Lord.

The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?  The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? … I am still confident of this:  I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.  Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

Happy Advent!

Auction Update

The totals are in.  The result of Sunday's silent pie auction was $475.  A check with that amount will be sent to the Merrick Food Shelf.

This is one of the ways that we can help the neighbors in our community who are in need as we reflect the love of Christ that is shown to us and then through us.

Thank you to all who brought pies and bought pies.
