Anticipating Worship (October 6)

Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost

Worship Focus:
We have a patient God, and we are saved because of it. Moses pleaded for the Lord’s patience when the Israelites broke the covenant. Paul illustrates God’s patience with each individual. Christ points out that there is rejoicing in heaven over every soul that repents.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, we pray that your mercy and grace may always go before and follow after us that, loving you with undivided hearts, we may be ready for every good and useful work; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Readings:
Exodus 32:7-14
Psalm 51a
1 Timothy 1:12-17
Luke 15:1-10

Sermon:  Luke 15:1-10
"What's It Worth to You?"

Please join us on Sunday at 9:30 am for worship and following our service stay for Bible study and Little Lights.
Pastor Mark Kom will be leading us in worship.
