Know Where to Look for the Living One
Prayer of the Day: Almighty God, by the glorious resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ, you overcame death and opened the gate to eternal life. Grant that we, who have been raised with him through baptism, may walk in the newness of life and ever rejoice in the hope of sharing his glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit be dominion and praise now and forever. Amen.
Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!
Happy Easter!

Good Friday
Tomorrow is Friday. But not just any Friday or another Friday. It is a good one. It is the day that we commemorate Jesus' death on the cross for us.
SPOILER ALERT. Jesus did not stay dead. The grave could not hold him.
Our sermon meditation is on Matthew 27:62-66. Get a glimpse of Easter Sunday on Good Friday. Jesus enemies seal the tomb in vain.
The service is at 6:30 PM.
Happy Good Friday.

Campbell's Labels for Education Program Change
We are writing to update you about Campbell's Labels for Education program.
For the past 42 years, Campbell has proudly offered Labels for Education which has contributed more than $110 million in school supplies to tens of thousands of schools across the U.S. It is one of a number of ways in which we support America's kids and families as part of our commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen.
During the past year, we've been assessing the impact of these programs and through this, we've seen that participation in Labels for Education has declined considerably. Sadly, it is at the point where we have no choice but to make the very difficult decision to wind down the program.
There will be changes for next year's program starting August 1, 2016.
During the 2016 - 2017 school year and beyond we will continue to honor labels only from schools currently registered with the program. We will remove the Labels for Education logo mid-2016 and expect there will be a limited number of products that contain these labels in stores through 2017.
We would like to thank all the schools and families that have made Labels for Education so special over the years. We are proud to have been part of your communities and appreciate the support you have shown for our brands.
We will continue to support America's kids through a program called Grand Stand for SchoolsSM sweepstakes that will run annually in August and September. Last year, we contributed more than $1 million to schools through this program. In addition, we give around $70 million annually in funding and food to support programs aimed at building healthy communities and tackling hunger and obesity amongst America's most vulnerable children.

Call to Ms. Cindy Lendt
Dear members of St. John Lutheran,
On Sunday I received a call to teach at Beautiful Savior Lutheran School in Cincinnati, Ohio. They are asking me to teach preschool and departmentalized music for grades 3-8 and to play organ for their church. Please pray for me as I decide where I can best serve God with the talents he has given me, either at St. John or at Beautiful Savior. As always, I appreciate your prayers and input! To God be the glory!
In our Savior’s Name,
Cindy Lendt Friday, March 4, 2016
