Prayer of the Day:
Lord God, you know that we are surrounded by many dangers and that we often stumble and fall. Strengthen us in body and mind, and bring us safely through all temptations; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Amen.

Prayer of the Day:  Almighty God, send your Son to proclaim your kingdom and to teach with authority. Anoint us with the power of your Spirit that we, too, may bring good news to the afflicted, bind up the brokenhearted, and proclaim liberty to the captive; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.  Amen. 

Divine Call Extended

A Pastoral Divine Call was extended to Pastor Brian Pechman at our call meeting Sunday, Jan 20.  He is currently the pastor for Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Pooler, Georgia.
His family includes his wife (Angela), and 5 children ages 18,16,13,10, and 8 years old.

SAA Workshop Time Change

There has been a change in the SAA workshop time for Sunday, February 3rd. It is now
11:00 am-1:00 pm. The time for the Saturday workshop remains the same, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
If you haven't already signed up you may do so on the sign-up sheet in the narthex.

Prayer of the Day:  Almighty God, you gave your one and only Son to be the light of the world. Grant that your people, illumined by your Word and sacraments, may shine with the radiance of Christ’s glory, that he may be known, worshiped, and believed to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and forever.

Congregation Meeting Lunch

There will be a lunch served at our Congregation Meeting on Sunday, January 27th, following worship. If you are able to bring a dessert to share it would be greatly appreciated. All members are encouraged to attend the meeting.

Taking Down Christmas Decorations

It's time to take the Christmas decorations down. If you could come on Saturday, January 19th, at 3:30 pm, your help would be greatly appreciated. There is the Game Night/Chili Cook-off that evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, so after the decorations come down and the work is done you can stay for an evening of good food and fellowship.
