By his gracious coming deliver us from the corruption of our sin and transform us into the likeness of his glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Church Council News and Updates
- We are looking for some children piano players for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services during the offering. If interested contact Jan.
- Change in Adult Bible classes and Choir practices on Sunday mornings. Starting Dec 22, the Adult Bible class time has changed to 10:00 on Sunday, Choir practice will be at 9:00. Service time will remain at 11:00 and Little Lights will remain at 10:00
- A note to members - Our security system is activated between 11:00 PM and 5:30 AM each day. The system has motion detectors and if it goes into alarm the police are notified and a trustee will get a call from our security company. If you need to be in the building while it is active, contact a trustee to deactivate it.
- Christmas decoration take-down is scheduled for Friday, January10th at 6:00 PM.

Anticipating Worship (December 8) Song Service
Please join us on Sunday at 11:00 am for a special Song Service.
Our Adult choir will be singing a selection of songs they have been working hard on and our
Little Lights will be singing "Go Tell It on the Mountain".
Come join us this Advent season.
Following our worship service, there will be a Craft and Bake Sale which
you will be able to pick from an array of wonderful things.
There is also a Potluck that everyone is welcome to attend!

Advent Services at Divinity Lutheran
Divinity Lutheran has invited St John members to join them for Advent services on
Wednesdays, December 11th and 18th, at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:45 pm.
