Update on Self Assessment and Adjustment Report

St. John completed the on-site assessment portion of the Self-Assessment and Adjustment program approximately one month ago. Pastor Roecker, our program counselor, has been in communication with the church council and there is a delay in our report at this time for two reasons: 1) There are inefficiencies in the system that is tabulating our data; and 2) There was a medical emergency for the Director of Congregational Counseling.

Pastor Roecker is continuing to work on our report and recommendations as much as possible. We will keep you updated as we know more on timing and share the report when it is available, he did not give an approximate completion date. Additionally, we are planning to schedule an open forum type member meeting once the report is available to discuss the recommendations and plans to move forward.

God's blessings,
Derek Meyer, on behalf of the church council.

Lenten Fellowship Opportunity

St. John has reserved an area at Obb’s restaurant, 1347 Burns Avenue in St. Paul, for a group fish fry after church on Good Friday, April 19. The event is open to all singles, families, couples, friends, etc.  The cost for the fish fry is $14.00 per person.  Beverages are available at extra charge. If you do not enjoy fish, you are welcome to order from the regular menu.  Please consider joining with your St. John family for this evening of fellowship together, to close out the Lenten season while we eagerly anticipate Easter morning. Sign-up is necessary as we are limited as to how many can be served. The sign-up sheet is on the table in the narthex.
