Jesus Won't Let You Drown
1. He comes with his merciful help
2. He comes with his mighty hand
Prayer of the Day: Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray, and to give more that we either desire or deserve. Pour upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things for which we are not worthy to ask, except through the merits and mediation of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
See you on Sunday!

Build on the Rock-VBS
Build on the Rock, our joint vacation Bible school (VBS) with Immanuel Hmong wrapped up on the 12th with many smiles. God certainly blessed our prayers and our efforts. We had many wonderful, smiling volunteers, gracious donors, your gifts of prayer, enthusiastic kids and beautiful weather, to make for a great event. There were 44 different participants during the 3 days. An added bonus was the great opportunity to get to know many of our Hmong brothers and sisters on a working level. Much positive feedback along with some great ideas for improving on the next VBS were received.
Thanks to everyone who participated. All praise and glory to Christ our Rock, our Deliverer!

Facility Update
Our next-door neighbors, CLUES, contacted us recently. They will soon be in a construction phase, tearing down the building next to them and putting up an addition. They were curious about some classroom space in our school for their programs during that process.
There have been two face-to-face meetings with some representatives of the Church Council. There is nothing definite yet as far as a proposal from them to us. Obviously, there might be some questions and comments from us. The Council and Trustees will continue to be in contact with them. A lease arrangement might be a possibility, but some things have to be considered before it would come before the congregation.
This is just information at this point so you are not caught off guard and you are aware.
