Letter from Ms. Cindy Lendt
Dear members of St. John,
Your prayers and your words have meant so much to me. I can’t say how much I thank God for you.
For three weeks I’ve been deliberating where I should use my God-given talents: here at St. John or as the director at Hope Lutheran’s early learning center in Manhattan, Kansas. My talents match better at St. John, and so I’m returning the call to Kansas. Lord-willing, I will continue to serve here at St. John.
Please remember Hope Lutheran in your prayers. I’m praying that God gives them the right director soon. May God bless his ministry there in Kansas, here at St. John, and all over the world as we share the good news of our Savior!
Your sister in Christ,
Cindy Lendt

Anticipating Worship (January 25)
Gratitude for Grace - This Sunday is our annual celebration of God's kindness to us. The sermon meditation is on Titus 2:11-14. God's grace appeared--grace to save us and grace to serve him. There will be a special service built around that idea.
A potluck meal follows worship as well as the Annual Meeting.
See you at 9:30 AM.
Grace be with you all.

Gratitude for Grace
Gratitude for Grace — God has given us his love. We see it clearly in Christ. We will have our annual celebration of God's goodness called "Gratitude for Grace" on January 25. Please check your member box for a letter from the Church Council with more information. This also coincides with our Annual Meeting and delicious potluck after worship. If you are able to help with clean-up after the meeting, please call Rhonda Evgen on 651-208-4642. Thank you.

Ms. Cindy Lendt has received a call.
Dear members of St. John,
Please include me in your prayers! Hope Lutheran Church in Manhattan, Kansas, has an early learning center that serves 100 children and their families, and the congregation is calling me to be its director. Please pray that God gives me the wisdom to decide where my talents would serve best, here at St. John or at Hope Lutheran in Kansas. As always, I appreciate your input and your prayers as I make my decision!
Your sister in Christ,
Cindy Lendt
